I am multimedia science journalist with 5+ years of experience, specializing in writing, hosting, and audio reporting. Telling stories through print, audio, video and even video games. Working to elevate authentic voices and find new angles for overlooked stories. Telling stories about climate, ocean and her favorite - tiny things with big impacts. I’m a National Geographic Explorer and the founder of Tiny Beaker Media. I have a PhD from Scripps Oceanography in marine biology, specializing in coral reefs and climate change. I host and produce the series Wavelengths.
